China National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a state-owned key enterprise China General Technology (Group) Holdings Co., Ltd. In 2022, it became a member of Genertec International Holding Co., Ltd. Over the past 70 years, CNTIC has been working as a major channel for import and export of key technologies and complete plants for the nation in various stages of economic development and has created many “No.1” for the national economy.
In recent years, while giving top priority to the technology trade, CNTIC constantly innovates operation modes and carefully cultivates the two core businesses, the introduction of key technologies and equipments and international projects contracting. The company focuses on international capacity cooperation and domestic green and low-carbon business and starts to work on R&D design consulting and advanced manufacturing. All of these efforts help CNTIC shape its core capabilities in five areas: marketing, business integration, investing and financing, project engineering and project management, and boost the transformation of an old state-owned foreign trade company which had relied heavily on government to an vibrant new enterprise with advanced concept, scientific management and competitiveness. In recent years, CNTIC experienced sustainable and rapid growth. This period of time has witnessed the expansion of the firm’s business scale and improvement of its business arena and market competitiveness.
